The UniPhier (Universal Platform for High-quality Image Enhancing Revolution) System LSI of Semiconductor Company of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called "Panasonic") is an integrated multimedia chip platform that enables standard and high-definition video solutions for DivX playback on a wide range of Blu-ray digital products, digital TVs, DVD players and more. UniPhier released a DivX Certified home theater chip in January, which has already been used in popular Blu-ray players and home theater systems.
