The PC Takes Center Stage at CES

According to PC Magazine, the most surprising thing at CES last week was the central role played by, of all things, the personal computer.

It was great to see, but a bit of a surprise because CES hasn't been known as a show where PCs take center stage. Last year, all the action was in Android tablets. The year before, it was all about 3D TVs. Indeed, large flat-panel displays have been the biggest, most visible part of the show for years. All of these products, plus phones, connected cars, cameras, and more, were certainly still at CES, but the PCs garnered the most attention.
